“Shoot for Cash” Tournament Rules and Guidelines
Welcome to the “Shoot for Cash” Tournament! These rules are designed to create a competitive, fair, and enjoyable environment for all participants. Please read carefully to ensure full compliance.
1. General Conduct
All players are expected to uphold integrity, sportsmanship, and respect for other competitors. Unsportsmanlike behavior, harassment, or cheating in any form will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the tournament.
Participants must use only their registered gaming accounts and usernames. Substitutes, “ringers,” or alternate accounts are strictly prohibited.
2. Eligibility
All players must register through the official “Shoot for Cash” website or designated platform and follow the sign up and confirmation instructions before the tournament begins.
Each player must meet the minimum age requirements as specified by the tournament organizers.
Players are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a compatible device for the tournament. Connection issues will not be grounds for restarting a game or match.
3. Match Settings and Game Structure
Matches will be played in ERANGEL unless otherwise specified by the organizers.
The game settings will be determined by the organizers and remain consistent across all rounds.
4. Rounds and Scoring
Qualifying Rounds:
Players are divided into four separate lobbies, each consisting of 25 players.
Each lobby will compete in 3 games, with points awarded based on both placement and eliminations:
Placement Points:
1st place = 10 points
2nd place = 8 points
3rd place = 6 points
Elimination Points: Each elimination will be worth 1 point.
After three games, the top 10 players from each lobby, based on cumulative points, will advance to the Semifinals (40 players max).
Semifinals:
The 40 qualifying players (max) are divided into two lobbies of 20 players each (max).
Each semifinal lobby plays 3 games, following the same scoring system as the Qualifying Rounds.
The top 10 players from each semifinal lobby, based on cumulative points, will advance to the Final Round (20 players total).
Final Round:
A single lobby of 20 players (max) will compete in the final round.
This round consists of 3 to 5 games.
Points are awarded based on the same scoring system, with the highest cumulative score across all final games determining the winner and final placements for the prize pool.
5. Prize Pool Distribution
The prize pool distribution will be based on the final placements in the Final Round.
Only the top players, as determined by the cumulative scoring in the final games, will be eligible for prizes as specified in the prize pool details.
6. Technical Issues and Replays
Players are responsible for the stability and performance of their devices and internet connections.
In the event of a major technical issue impacting a large number of players (e.g., server crash), the organizers may decide to replay the match. This decision is at the sole discretion of the tournament organizers and is final.
7. Disconnections and Late Arrivals
Players who disconnect during a game may attempt to rejoin if possible, but no allowances will be made to pause or replay the game.
Players must join lobbies on time. Late arrivals may forfeit their position and will not be eligible to compete in the current round.
8. Cheating and Rule Violations
Cheating: Any use of exploits, cheats, or third-party software is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Rule Violations: Players must follow all tournament guidelines. Violations, including collusion or match-fixing, will result in disqualification.
9. Dispute Resolution and Appeals
Any disputes must be submitted in writing to the tournament officials immediately after the game in question. Officials will review disputes at their discretion.
Decisions by tournament officials are final.
10. Tournament Changes
“Shoot for Cash” organizers reserve the right to modify the tournament structure, rules, or prize distribution at any time for clarity, fairness, or any unforeseen circumstances.
